Family Cupcake Wars

Family Cupcake Wars was my favorite program to date this summer.  It was such a pleasure watching Moms and Dads and siblings work together on their luscious treats; they collectively chose a theme and everyone worked on their entries using frosting, candies, pretzels, cotton candy, sprinkles, food coloring, etc.   Afterwards, as the judges were making their rounds, they were given the opportunity to display their entries.  Parents and children were both very proud and eager to talk about their cupcakes and to discuss how they followed their selected themes.  Winners were chosen based on creativity, teamwork, and cleanliness.
Many thanks to Michelle Vamos for running this program.  She was unfailingly kind and patient and thoroughly enjoyed the families' creative efforts!  We all had fun and look forward to  having this program again.
