Free comic books! What could be better?

We all know that Memorial Day is a big holiday celebrated at the end of May, but did you know another special day is coming this Saturday, May 5th?

For the past 10 years, many local comic book shops have been participating in "Free Comic Book Day" which comes around the first Saturday in May.

So what does this mean for you?  Stop by a participating shop and you will be able to enjoy a selection of free bees put out by comic book publishers to promote their titles.  Sometimes the issues available on this day are limited edition and will be difficult to get your hands on later on.

Some stores even have special sales on merchandise that is not part of the "free" catalogue!

Be sure to visit a comic book shop on your way to see "The Avengers" this Saturday!
