Martin Luther King Jr. was an activist and leader of the civil right's movement. Through his courage and bravery, he was one of the first people to advance civil rights through nonviolence and civil disobedience. This year, we celebrate Martin Luther King Jr. Day on Monday, January 18th to commemorate his life and legacy.
