Celebrating the Works of Children's Author Ann McGovern (May 25, 1930- August 8, 2015)

Ann Mcgovern, popular children's book author died last week. According to a New York times article, Ann Mcgovern is the author of more than fifty books for children. She is best remembered for her adaption of "Stone Soup," a retelling of a traditional folktale.

According to a New York times article, Mcgovern "has sold over thirty million copies". Many of her books incorporated the artwork of talented illustrators including Ezra Jack Keats and Tomie dePaola.
