Author Spotlight: Adam Gidwitz

This week, we are shining a spotlight on Adam Gidwitz. 

Adam Gidwitz is the author of many best selling children's books including A Tale Dark and Grimm, In a Glass Grimmly, and The Grimm Conclusion. He has received multiple Newbery Honor distinctions for his works including The Inquisitors Tale. 

Here are some other fun facts about Adam Gidwitz:

• Adam Gidwitz was born in San Francisco.
• He attended Columbia University.
• Before becoming an author, he was a teacher in Brooklyn.
• He credits a short time as a substitute librarian as the inspiration behind The Grimm Trilogy.
• He lived in France with his wife in 2012.
