Black History Month

February is Black History Month. The goal of Black History Month is to highlight African American achievements and recognize the central role African Americans have played in U.S. history. Today, schools, cultural institutions and communities plan dedicated events to observe, commemorate, and champion Black culture: past, present, and future.
